Asner elected to NAS

Huge congrats to our good friend and colleague Greg Asner for his election to the National anser_caoAcademy of Sciences!  It’s a well-deserved honor for someone who is a true pioneer, and whose work has enormous importance for both our basic understanding of ecosystems and for our collective attempts to figure out how people can (and must) move towards more sustainable practices.  As I’ve said before, Greg’s work is a real game changer, and  we’re only starting to see the full impacts of the innovations he’s brought to the table.  We’re excited to be starting a new project in Costa Rica that includes Greg and his team.  Read more about Greg’s work here.
